I'm gonna deal with the main event match. HHH vs. Dean Ambrose. Bleacher Report gave an A plus to both wrestlers. But it's not the Wrestling that I have a problem with. I already know that HHH and Dean Ambrose can Wrestle at an level. I'm looking for a twist in the storyline.
Triple H would go on to retain his WWE Title at Road Block. No surprise. Although for a split second the WWE universe was tricked into thinking that Ambrose had won the Title. He pinned Triple H for the 1,2, 3 but it was waved off by the ref due to his feet being under the ropes. The problem with Road Block that many fans had was that it did nothing for Wrestlemania. It was dubbed a pointless show. The fans weren't all that into it. They chanted CM Punk in 3 or 4 matches. I was hoping that Ambrose would win the Title or Reigns would come out and screw Ambrose over turning him heel, or something along those lines. None of those things happened. I just don't get what the point of this show was. I'm guessing that maybe they are trying to turn Ambrose into the new Daniel Bryan by always having come close to the Title but never able to win it. The problem is that it is just not working as far the storyline is concerned. I said after Royal Rumble that it was time to give Dean Ambrose the push. I was worried that if the WWE waited too long that fans would grow impatient and they would start to look at Ambrose as a mid-carder for life. I'm afraid that it is already becoming a reality. Unfortunately Ambrose has gotten lost in their attempt to push Reigns. Now even at Road Block fans were not as into Ambrose as they use to be. The CM Punk chants is evidence that WWE has yet to really put anyone over with fans since the departure of CM Punk and the retirement of Daniel Bryan.
Overall RoadBlock left me feeling like Wrestlemania will be pretty damn boring.
